SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN

Running. Out of breath. Grasping my sword with the little training i have. June. Fourteen. Daughter of Hebe, Minor goddess, often underestimated. I found out yesterday when a satyr came knocking on my door.
"Yep child of Hebe aright." He muttered. That's when it clicked right then and there. No wonder i look younger than my actual age. Fourteen with baby smooth skin, no dark circles, and radiant eyes.
"Who the heck are you?" I asked.
"No time, Let's go!"
"Wha-" I said as he yanked me out of my apartment and dragged me down the stairs. He was pudgy and had dimples. He looked like a big teddy bear. When i walked out there was a massive storm. There was a hurricane watch on the news.
"Dude," I ran my fingers through my dyed Ariel red hair. "Are you insane?!?"
Suddenly we reach a boy who looked like he belonged in an emo band.
"Nico!" The satyr shouted. "Shadow travel immediately."
"Ugh!" Nico groaned. Rain poured all over him as her stood there carelessly. He motioned me to grab his hand. I did out of curiosity. Stupid idea... As soon as Nico did his voodoo powers i felt like my insides have been churned around. We arived inside of a camp with a blazing fire.
"Where are we?" I asked. Looking around.
"Kid," The satyr began. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood."
Nico began to walk away. The satyr was babbling about where to sleep and all of that. I wasn't listening. My eyes and attention was fixed on Nico. Shoulder slumped, sad, stanger Nico.
When the satyr was done talking about gods know what, I caught up with Nico.
"Why so glum?" I asked. "Nico, right? I'm June. Who is your godly parent"
"Yeah..." He kept walking deliberately not listening,at a faster pace. I wasn't getting his attention.
"Here goes nothing!" I yell. I jump on his back and, caught off guard he lands on the floor.
"You know you are seriously annoying?" He grumbled while getting up.
"I know." I said while getting up myself with a mischievous grin on my face. Then he ran into the woods a disappeared.
Now back to my running. Where was i? Oh yeah, running from fifty foot giants near a cliff. I still run no matter how tired i get. The giant is closing in on me. I slip grabbing on to the ledge. My sword plummets to the ground beneath me. i know i am going to die, My fingers are slipping. Suddenly a sword crashed into the giant dissolving it into gold dust revealing Nico. He runs and grabs my hand tyring to pull me up as another giant comes his was. I am struggling to get up, i am too heavy and weak to pull up my own weight. Over the past day the storm had gotten stronger, wind blowing everywhere.
"Let her go Nico!" Somebody shouts. "Nico! Let her go or you'll die!"
Nico looked me in my eyes for the last time. His eyes filled with pain and sorrow. "Hades is my godly parent." He is about to cry.
"Ghost King, ehh?" I choke out a laugh. "It's okay.." I whisper. "You can let me go." The grip loosened and i feel accepting death as it came.
